1.Our Cancellation Policy
1. OVERVIEW
At Travevo Consulting Limited ("Travevo", "we", "our", or "us"), we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable when you cancel, modify, or request refunds for bookings made through our platform.
As a travel agency and intermediary, Travevo facilitates bookings with airlines, hotels, tour operators, car rental companies, insurance providers, and other travel suppliers. Therefore, cancellation and refund eligibility are largely governed by the policies of the respective supplier.
By making a booking through Travevo, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Cancellation Policy.
2. GENERAL CANCELLATION RULES
All cancellation requests must be submitted through Travevo's official customer support channels.
Cancellation requests are only considered received once acknowledged by our support team.
Refund eligibility, cancellation fees, and processing times are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable travel supplier.
Certain bookings may be completely non-refundable and non-changeable.
Service fees charged by Travevo are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
3. FLIGHT BOOKINGS
3.1 Airline Cancellation Policies
Flight cancellations are governed by the fare rules of the airline and ticket type purchased.
Airlines may categorize fares as:
- Refundable
- Partially Refundable
- Non-Refundable
Where a ticket is refundable, applicable airline penalties, administrative fees, and service charges may be deducted before any refund is processed.
3.2 Airline-Initiated Changes
If an airline cancels, significantly changes, or reschedules a flight, refund eligibility will depend on the airline's policy.
Travevo will assist customers in communicating with the airline and processing eligible refund requests but cannot guarantee approval by the airline.
3.3 No-Show Passengers
Passengers who fail to check in, board their flight, or travel as booked may be considered "No-Show" by the airline.
No-show bookings are often non-refundable and may attract additional penalties imposed by the airline.
4. HOTEL BOOKINGS
Hotel cancellation policies vary by property and rate type.
Depending on the booking:
- Free cancellation may be available before a specified deadline.
- Partial cancellation charges may apply.
- Some bookings may be fully non-refundable.
Refunds are subject to the hotel's cancellation policy and approval.
Failure to check in without prior cancellation may result in the entire booking amount being forfeited.
5. HOLIDAY PACKAGES AND TOURS
Holiday packages often combine flights, accommodation, transfers, excursions, and other travel services.
Because package components are purchased together:
- Individual services may not be cancelled separately.
- Cancellation of one component may require cancellation of the entire package.
- Supplier penalties may apply.
The closer the cancellation is made to the travel date, the higher the cancellation charges may be.
6. CAR RENTALS
Car rental cancellations are subject to the rental company's terms and conditions.
Cancellation fees may vary depending on:
- Rental location
- Vehicle type
- Time remaining before pickup
- Promotional or discounted rates
No-shows may result in forfeiture of all amounts paid.
7. VISA ASSISTANCE SERVICES
Visa application fees, embassy fees, consular fees, processing fees, and service charges are generally non-refundable once processing has commenced.
Travevo does not guarantee visa approval.
A visa refusal, delay, or rejection does not automatically qualify a customer for a refund.
8. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance policies are governed by the insurance provider's terms and conditions.
Cancellation and refund requests for insurance products are subject to the insurer's approval and policy provisions.
Once coverage has commenced, refunds may not be available.
9. INSTALLMENT PAYMENT BOOKINGS ("PAY SMALL SMALL")
Where customers use installment payment plans:
- Cancellation requests remain subject to supplier cancellation policies.
- Outstanding balances may still be payable where supplier commitments have already been made.
- Cancellation fees may be deducted from any eligible refund.
If a customer defaults on agreed installment payments, Travevo reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply applicable penalties.
10. REFUND PROCESSING TIMES
Approved refunds may take between 14 and 90 business days depending on:
- Airline or supplier processing timelines
- Payment method used
- Banking and card provider procedures
- International settlement requirements
Refund processing timelines are outside Travevo's direct control.
11. FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS
In cases of extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Epidemics or pandemics
- Political unrest
- Airport closures
- Acts of terrorism
- War or civil disturbances
refunds, credits, travel vouchers, or rebooking options will be subject to the policies of the relevant supplier.
Travevo shall not be liable for losses arising from such events.
